Next Wednesday 11th February we have a very special event for Poetry lovers, with FREE ADMISSION!
SIR ANDREW MOTION will be here to perform a reading, to mark the County Final of national schools' poetry recitation contest POETRY BY HEART. A fantastic and rare opportunity to see an ex Poet Laureate grace the arts centre stage.
Then there's the chance to enjoy recitations from five students, battling it out for the County title.
Admission is free. Doors open at 7pm, with the proceedings starting at 7.30pm.
