Viva Camulodunum: Sisteray + Rubber Jaw + Suspects + Noah Booth *

26th June 2018

Sisteray met when they litterally collided together in the mosh pit at a Libertines gig and soon discovered their shared love for bands such as The Smiths, Velvet Underground, The Clash and The Replacements. This is proven in the upbeat melodies and lyrical observations of 21st century Britain, combined with high-octane live performances that have been key to making their live shows unmissable.

Rubber Jaw

Rubber Jaw are a three piece from Elmstead Market, Essex. Their sound is comprised of lingering vocals, claustrophobic beats, weeping digital guitar effects, synthesised basses and striking visuals. With interests that span from Art Rock and Hip-Hop to 80’s wrestling promos and David Lynch, Rubber Jaw are part of the emerging sound of Essex that has been crawling its way back down the A12 into the suburbs of East London. With an ever-evolving DIY sound they are are hard to corner, however some have christened the movement ”Homemade Art House”.

Suspects are a 5 piece indie/rock/alt band from Essex. Fresh from playing alongside RATBOY at O2 Academy Brixton, Suspects have been hot on the radar and were recently named 'Best Band in Essex' for 2018. Their debut E.P - City I live In - is a raucous affair with relaxed and relevant vocals that blend well with the driving guitar led music underneath.

Noah Booth

Noah Booth will perform throughout the night and offers a unique sonic and visual experience by blending contemporary, hiphop influenced soundscapes with absolute absurdity.
