Sam Eagle *

Colchester's own 19-year-old Songwriter and Multi-instrumentalist, Sam Eagle returns to headline the Arts Centre with his band. Twisting jazz and psychedelic rock into left field pop, Sam and the band has built an acclaimed live show that has seen him perform at Latitude Festival, Great Escape Festival, and play live sessions on Radio X & BBC Radio 6Music for Tom Robinson. Quickly picking up strong support from BBC 6music and music fans, for his diverse, complex, yet accessible range of sounds in his set.

"I only just got to see him live with his band... they just blew me away. Really dense, accessible, left field pop music, with adventurous chords and time sequences - and it's just played effortlessly by properly gifted musicians. They're all about 18 years old and just put musicians twice their age to shame". - Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6Music
