Consort of 1, together with The Colchester Waits and Colchester Historical Dance, present an afternoon dance party with a historical twist.
They say the past is a foreign country, but some things were not so different - music with a strong rhythm and the impulse to dance together have been with us throughout history, so pick up your skirts, let your hair down and move to the beat!
There will be spectacular dance showpieces to sit back and watch, Tudor dances to learn and plenty of time to show off your best moves, or to sit back and listen to the music.
Featuring the dance students of Evolution Foundation College.
