The Joe Allard Commission 2019: Marwan Sallouta
Each year a £1,000 commission is awarded in memory of the long serving and supremely gifted trustee Joe Allard.
This year the Syrian photographer Marwan Sallouta is the recipient.
As a photo journalist Marwan was forced to evacuate Syria and now lives in Colchester. His photographs capture both social history and the natural surroundings we live in.
The afternoon will also feature a performance from Chris Allard, who will play a set of improvised solo electric guitar, using loops and effects.
Exhibition opening 2pm – 4pm. Free Admission. All welcome.
