26th July 2011

Our first Edinburgh Preview this year sees Steve Hall and double-act Peacock & Gamble take to our stage for an unmissable evening’s entertainment that will showcase the talent they will later bring to The Fringe this year.

A prolific writer and comic performer, Ray Peacock is one of the most popular comperes, headline performers and TV warm-up acts on the circuit. Ray’s TV credits include, ‘No Heroics’ (ITV2), ‘Doctor Who’ (BBC One), ‘Skins’ (E4), ‘Doctors’ (BBC One), ‘Edinburgh & Beyond’ (Comedy Central), and ‘Russell Howard's Good News’ (BBC Three). Ed Gamble is proving to be a notable emerging comedy talent, having been tour support for Greg Davies, Chris Addison and Jenny Éclair in 2010 as well as his own university tour on The Comedy Network. He has performed full runs at Edinburgh in various guises for the last 5 years and recently made his TV Stand-Up debut on ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’ (BBC Three) to large critical acclaim. In 2009 Ray Peacock and Ed Gamble created the Peacock & Gamble podcast which has since grown something of a cult following and the Guardian calls “35 minutes of pure gold.” Expect similar levels of energy as the comedy partners take their vision to the road.
