An all day celebration of the 35th Work Anniversary of Colchester Arts Centre's very own Mick Newman - Box Office Guru, celebrated Chilli Chef and all-round force for good.

We *think* 2022 is Mick's 35th anniversary of working at the venue. Due to the hazy nature of employment practices back then, we'll never be sure - but this year seems as good as any.

Come and celebrate the existence of this local legend, feted by bands worldwide for his culinary skills (as featured on BBC 6 Music with Steve Lamacq) and loved by many as a bona fide Colchester Institution and top bloke.

The day will feature a selection of acts, hand picked by Mick, with the amazing ALEX PATERSON of THE ORB closing the night with another spellbinding DJ set. Mick's own band VALHALLANS play two sets, kicking off both e daytime and evening sessions.
