A special Yoga session, the like of which you've probably never experienced before!
Do.omyoga comes to Colchester Arts centre for a very special LIVE music session collaborating with local sound artist Bösch. Merging this practice and live sound is an experience not to be missed.
DO.OMYOGA is the exploration of the self through sound. Traditionally set to drone, doom metal, ambient, electronic, avant garde sounds, a very immersive and deeply connecting Yoga practice, equal focus is placed on Music, Meditation and Movement. Encouraging deep listening , Nada yoga, meaning "union through sound" you will be taken on a sonic journey inside and out. A mindful, slowly paced balanced sequence of accessible postures focuses on bringing flow and removing blockages of the energy body through dynamic movement leading you into still, passive, rewarding, meditative floor based postures designed to release and relax the body mind bringing you deeper and taking you higher. The session will calm the nervous system and bring you to a balanced, centred place within yourself. Yoga is for everybody and every body. All you need to do is BREATHE.

Kamellia Sara founded and leads Do.omyoga. An Artist born of Egyptian and Irish nationality and descent, she emerged into this world to facilitate, spread and render practical the powerful energy of her lineage.She experienced an 'awakening' through discovering Yoga and travelled to India to deepen her knowledge and understanding of this ancient practice of 'self actualisation' where she was initiated into the 8 limbed path of Ashtanga yoga. A year later she studied sound healing with Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux. Bosch is an experimental electronic musician and sound artist. Following studying classical piano Bosch began producing electronic and drone music inspired by 70's electronica to minimalist composers and exists in the realms of the likes of Tim Hecker and Loscil.
