This duo from North Essex have been picking up traction over the past couple of years, with their blisteringly intense improvised hardware techno performances at festivals, clubs, and on various radio shows - but that's not the whole story of these gear obssesive, audio explorers. Combining samplers, synths, drum machines and fx, the duo perform improvised soundscapes that are simultaneously mesmerising, intense, dark and experimental. Having released on absoluteloss records, and with both having plenty of success as solo artists, Don Quöng are a local hidden gem, and bring a certain excitement to everything they do.
