After the excitement of their 2016 show Banner Theatre demanded they return to the hotbed of radical change that is Colchester. Their new show is a stirring, stomping, roaring celebration of grassroots resistance.
Rise, Like Lions! tells bang up to date stories of resistance to privatization of the NHS, austerity pay for school teaching assistants, cuts to school budgets, and fracking.
The show will feature Banner Theatre’s thunderous mix of folk, reggae and ska, Rise, Like Lions! brings you songs, stories and video scoops from the frontline of the class war. Network after the show and join the resistance.
