Benji was a member of recently disbanded folk trailblazers Bellowhead; is a third of the power folk trio Faustus; spent 3 years in Seth Lakeman’s band and has always performed as a solo artist. Benji deftly picks his way up and down the frets of the bouzouki, guitar, mandolin and banjo and with his 2015 release Hendrix Songs he tackles the songs of his hero, Jimi Hendrix, in stripped back, purely acoustic and thoroughly original style. His 2008 Navigator label release, Boomerang, showcased his unique song writing talents and he has worked alongside Maddy Prior and Oysterband to name but a few.
