20/12/2019 As many will be aware, the New Town Kings suffered a tragedy recently with the passing of their guitarist Stu. Our sympathies go out to all who knew him, and we will miss him here at the venue.

We’ve been in touch with the band about how to proceed with the New Years Eve gig. Understandably, they don't feel it would be right to play a celebratory gig at this very difficult time for them, and so the mutual decision was made to cancel. The band intend to put on a special gig dedicated to Stu’s memory at some point in 2020 - when the time is right. Ticket holders are being contacted to arrange refunds.

NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY with DJ JEFF SCOTT
The arts centre will still be open on New Year’s Eve for a Club Night with DJ Jeff Scott, playing a set of indie, rock and alternative from 9pm - 2am. Admission is £5, with all proceeds going to the arts centre’s Disability Access Fund.

Expect tunes from the likes of Blur, Beatles, Pixies, Killing Joke, X-Ray Specs, The Kinks, Rolling Stones, The Police, Talking Heads, Blondie, Sex Pistols, Clash, Joy Division & more...

All tickets £5.
Doors open 9pm.
Party until 2am.
