We're very pleased to be part of a weekend long series of World Music events events, alongside our partners at Colchester Institute, Essex Diversity Project, Essex County Council and the Womad Foundation.

The Essex Global Music and Dance Weekender offers places for musicians and dancers aged 18+, who have experience of performing or playing and want to extend their practice. A great opportunity to take part in a fantastic weekend of music, singing and dance with artists from across the globe – Ghana, Jamaica, Zanzibar, Colombia and UK. Learn new techniques, explore new genres, develop new skills and take part in collaborations.

An exciting, immersive weekend of workshops and master classes will take place at Colchester Institute and Colchester Arts Centre. This is a chance to widen your musical horizons and learn from the best…

Just £50 for the whole weekend - including meals and accomodation! Cripes - if that's not amazing value then I don't know what is.

CAULDRON + DJ MR BENN + MC SOULS LIBERATION
Featuring Mim Suleiman  (Zanzibar), Abass Dodoo (Ghana), Mauricio Velasierra (Colombia), Ripton Lindsay (Jamaica) and Heidi Heidleberg (UK), and a set from DJ Mr.Benn performing alongside MC Souls Liberation.
Tickets £8 / £7 concessions.
Doors open 7.30pm, starts 8pm.
