Friday 30th October we have a very special Music & Dance workshop brought to you by those wonderful folks at WOMAD and Essex County Council.
Are you between 11 – 17 and interested in dance and music? Would you like to learn techniques in music and dance from around the world?
If YES come and join our music and dance workshops run by world class musician and dancers, Mauricio Velasierra (Colombian) and Ripton Lindsay (Jamaica), and Annie Menter (WOMAD Foundation), from the WOMAD foundation.
When: Friday 30 October 2015, 10.00 – 16.00
Where: Colchester Arts Centre and Bunting Rooms.
What: You’ll be working with musician Mauricio Velasierra and dancer Ripton Lindsay alongside other Essex world musicians and dancers. The sessions will be really relaxed and focused on you having fun leaning new music and dance techniques. You can try as much or as little of the sessions as you like.
