We're delighted to hear that Scottish pipe combo BREABACH have been nominated for Best Group at next year's BBC Folk Awards. All the more reason to catch them when they perform here on Thursday 28th November - CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS.
Further kudos to Colchester Folk Club as several of their recent acts have also been nominated, including SAM SWEENEY who's up for Best Musician and WILL POUND (coming in January in his duo HADDO). The great MARTIN SIMPSON has also been nominated (seen at the arts centre most recently with Folk supergroup THE FULL ENGLISH) as have recent performers Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin.
The ceremony is in the Albert Hall this year - good luck to all!
