Luke Beardon is an author and senior lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University who has been working as a practitioner providing support and consultancy in the field of autism and Asperger syndrome for around 20 years. He is often featured and interviewed in media outlets such as The Guardian, The Independent and BBC Radio 4 and is known for his strong opinions on neurodiversity and the need for a change in attitude towards autism.

Luke speaks with great honesty, humour and passion about people with autism. His stories of incredible individuals will leave you fascinated, inspired and may even challenge a preconception or two.
