Banner Theatre return to a favourite venue with a history of trade union struggles over the last 150 years. Expect rollicking tunes, videos, and interviews that bring you slap up to date with the struggle for union recognition and a living wage. One of the best agit-prop theatre companies will tell the stories of the 1888 Match Girls strike, formation of the Labour Party, 1926 General Strike, birth of the NHS, 1976 Grunwick Strike; and the 2004 Canary Wharf cleaners dispute, and finally the McDonalds strikes in the current era. This show is brought to you by Colchester Trades Union Council.
