Anglo-American singer songwriter Sarah Gillespie is renowned for mixing elements of jazz, folk & blues with her streetwise poetic lyrics. Having released 4 critically acclaimed albums in the last 10 years, she’s toured extensively, headlining leading venues & festivals in Europe and the USA. She’s twice played live on BBC 'Woman's Hour' & was interviewed by Andrew Marr on BBC Radio 4’s 'Start the Week' on the role of politics in song. (She has a Master's Degree in Politics & Philosophy).

Gillespie's most recent album 'Wishbones' received 5-star reviews & Album of the Year from the Arts Desk and she is recording her new album in Berlin for release in 2023.

During the Covid Lockdown of 2020 Gillespie sold out 2 collections of abstract expressionist paintings inspired by specific pieces of music and songs raising money for her favourite London venue the 606 Club in Chelsea.

She also launched the Create Now Academy delivering mentoring programs, free workshops and retreats to artistic women and girls in song craft and creativity.

Tonight’s concert will be the first UK preview of songs from Gillespie’s new album ahead of the London launch in September 2023.
