Powerhouse Gospel Choir is a team of well-seasoned singers and musicians that have a love for gospel music at their core and several years experience in the international music industry.

Led by the inimitable T-Jae Cole one of the UK’s most respected gospel choir directors. His love for singing gospel compelled him to start Powerhouse Gospel Choir which unites singers and his talented friends to fulfil his dream of having an impact on the hearts, minds and souls of everyone they work with.

Many of the singers honed their skills as choral singers and soloists whilst in The London Community Gospel Choir, and have since gone on to work as backing vocalists and vocal technicians with some of the world’s biggest artists such as Quincy Jones, Dave Gahan, Pharrell Williams, Blur, Sam Smith and Classical Brit Award Winner Tokio Myers to name a few.

The unique sound of Powerhouse Gospel Choir is found in the magical blend of their voices producing a sound that is soulful, passionate, uplifting and utterly captivating, this sound attracted the London Symphony Orchestra who invited them to perform a Christmas concert performance at the world-famous Barbican Centre in London.

T Jae is a busy man he founded and still runs several community choirs throughout the southeast. He acts as a music consultant specialising in the gospel genre to various organisations in the region.
