Fei Comodo + Malefice + The Morning After + Despite My Deepest Fear*

2nd June 2012

Headline band Fei Comodo are a local 5 piece post-hardcore band with a large and enthusiastic following. In September 2007, Fei toured as support for fellow Essex band InMe. In September 2008, they released a mini-album titled They All Have Two Faces. Following that the band supported Blessed By A Broken Heart in December 2008 and embarked on a headline tour in February / March 2009 in order to promote the mini-album. In 2009 the band landed a spot playing in the on the third stage in the Red Bull tent at Download Festival. And in October, Fei Comodo played Freestyle Festival as one of the headlining bands on the main stage along side CKY.

Malefice'smonstrous debut album 'Entities' was a punishing, brutal assault to the system. Crossing the boundaries of thrash, death and mathcore, ‘Entities’ specialized in the same power groove that saw Pantera and Lamb Of God rise to legendary status in the field. Arriving with nothing in the way of fancy haircuts, cheesy gimmicks or music industry hype, Malefice are a band that captured the minds and banged the heads of every metalhead that missed metal in its purest, most uncompromising form; brutal, tuneful and heavy as hell.
The Morning After combine the exuberance, showmanship and melody of classic 80's metal and pop with a gritty backbone of the metal and hard rock of today .This combined with epic, uplifting choruses and emotive string sections make for an exciting mix that is making waves in the british metal scene as well as abroad.

Since forming in 2009 Despite My Deepest Fear have established themselves as serious contenders on the UK metal scene. Their first digital release, the ‘EP’ ‘This Dies With Us’, was received with critical acclaim and stood them in great stead for their debut album ‘Dimensions’, released July 2011. Having shared the stage with such international heavyweights as Deaf Havana, While She Sleeps ad Lower Than Atlantis to name a few, DMDF have built a reputation for their energetic live shows, do-it-yourself attitude and hard working philosophy which has gotten them into the position they are in today.
