Playing everything from breakneck American bluegrass to raucous Irish singalongs (and a couple of tearjerking folk ballads for good measure), virtuoso musicians The Thumping Tommys are one of the most entertaining bands in the UK. Throw in some blistering banjo and fiddle solos, a pair of spoons and a homemade washboard, and it's impossible to leave without taking their infectious energy with you.
