Mitch Benn is the 37th Beatle

Mitch Benn is the 37th Beatle

3rd April 2014

Mitch's new show combines his Scouse upbringing with his love of music and a lifelong obsession with Liverpool's most famous sons. It is most definitely not a tribute show and while his affection for his subjects is well documented, expect the satirical twists for which Mitch is well known. As Mitch himself says: "Many have claimed the title "Fifth Beatle". They can't all be right; some were righter than others..."

"Anyone who likes music, hates Simon Cowell and likes learning new things will love it"

"This expertly-crafted satire is perfect for both hardcore music aficionados and those entirely ignorant.... what really sets the show apart is that it's incredibly well-researched, informative and engaging .... held the audience totally captivated."

"His best show in years... a richly entertaining hour that reminds you why The Beatles were great, compelling for those with passing knowledge of the hits but surely a must for dedicated fans"

"You really don't need to be a Beatles buff to enjoy this. Benn is terrific company"

"This is a must see show for anyone who even faintly enjoys the Beatles, anyone who likes pop music at all, anyone who likes a laugh. Benn, a truly likeable man with a sharp wit, produces an hour of pure joy" ****
