Edinburgh Comedy Preview: Neil Delamere + Marlon Davis

Come and see two shows from this year’s festival before stardom takes them into the stratosphere of celebrityism.

Neil Delamere is one of the top acts working in the Irish comedy scene today, best known to audiences for his regular appearances on RTE's The Panel and BBC's The Blame Game. He has performed all over Ireland as well as at the prestigious Kilkenny Cat Laughs festival, the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the New Zealand Comedy Festival. He featured in both series of Liffey Laughs, RTE's stand-up show in 2005 and 2006 as well as The World Stands Up for Paramount.
In 2007 Neil returned to Montreal to perform in the Just for Laughs Festival while also presenting the RTE television series covering the event, Neil Delamere's Just for Laughs for the second year in a row. His first DVD "No Message" was released in October of that year and quickly achieved platinum status. A year later Neil's Edinburgh Fringe Festival show attracted rave 5 star reviews and lead to an appearance on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow on BBC1.

Marlon Davis
With a Brown Eyed Boy series on MTV under his belt, Marlon Davis is a bright young comedian, improviser and actor who embraces his work with energy and charm, embodying his characters and delivering his material with skilful observations.
Crowned winner of the broadcast FHM Search For A Stand-up Competition, and finalist in 3 other national comedy awards, Marlon works all over the UK doing sets, compering and headlining, including being a huge hit at the 1800 capacity Leicester Comedy Festival's Preview Show. Marlon's act is inspired from his upbringing, exploring urban Britain tackling its social issues with skilful characterisations.
