About Andrew
Andrew Allen has performed extensively on guitar and bass in a wide range of contexts from concerts and gigs through to radio and television broadcasts. He worked in Manchester and Wrexham between 1975 and 1997 performing, teaching and composing. In 1997 he joined the staff of Colchester Institute. In 2004 was appointed Head of Music and Performing Arts and in 2013 Director of Faculty: Creative Arts. Andrew retired from his post at Colchester Institute in the summer of 2016 in order to return to performing.
