D'Ukes Fest 2017
What is probably the longest established, single day, FREE ukulele festival in Essex, the Southeast and possibly the UK, D’UkesFest 2017 is being held for the first time at Colchester Arts Centre.
This will be the 8th ukulele festival organised by D’Ukes and a day of ukulele fun is promised including performances showcasing ukulele acts, ukulele workshops, stalls and much more, ending in a mass ukulele Jam.

D'Ukes Evening Concert
The aim of the festival is to encourage people of all ages to play the ukulele. So if you are learning the ukulele or received one as a present and don’t know how to play it, then pick up your uke and come along! There will be a workshop for beginners where members of D’Ukes will teach basic chords and strumming. This is a family friendly festival and an opportunity for those people interested in the ukulele to try it out and meet up with other uke enthusiasts and have a jam.
